To the girls rushing in the spring be aware that over 2000 girls are signed up for recruitment and only about 65% will receive a bid to any house. Doesn’t matter how involved you are or how high your GPA is or how good you look. Matters how much money you’ve got, where you’re from, and who you know!

Only you know what you desire from a sorority. If the perceived lowest house on campus offers you your best and biggest dreams, join them. Living your life matters more than someone else's perception of how you should live your life.

Rush works both ways. They can drop you, and thus you may choose to drop rush. Lots of girls drop rush when their invites dont include top tier. That's the real reason only 65% of total starters finish with bids.
A different, higher percentage of girls is used to truly tally overall PH rush success. Gals who attend pref AND maximize ALL their options from that point normally get bids; closer to an 88% figure of those from pref go somewhere.
