Ranking Sororities 2026

Auburn Sorority Rankings (Based on What’s Happening Now)
I know rankings are always debated, and not everyone will agree. That’s fine. Auburn shifts more than people admit.
This isn’t based on hometown pipelines or what a chapter was 10+ years ago. I’m looking at leadership visibility, recruitment competitiveness, trajectory over the past few years, campus involvement, and overall sisterhood strength. Momentum matters.
Some chapters are steady. Some are gaining ground. Some are adjusting or rebuilding. That doesn’t make any of them bad, just in different phases.
Each phase is not in any type of ranking order. They could all be interchanged within the same phase.
Established & Highly Competitive
Consistently strong recruitment performance and visible leadership
Alpha Delta Pi
Phi Mu
Kappa Delta
Alpha Gamma Delta
These chapters remain competitive and well-established across multiple recruitment cycles.
Strong, Competitive & Gaining Momentum
Cross-rushed, visible in leadership, upward trajectory
Alpha Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta
Gamma Phi Beta
Sigma Kappa
Delta Gamma
These chapters remain competitive in recruitment and are becoming increasingly visible in campus leadership and involvement, reflecting clear upward momentum.
Competitive but Shifting
Strong socially, but recent visibility and leadership feel less consistent
Pi Beta Phi
Zeta Tau Alpha
Chi Omega
Still recognizable and competitive during recruitment, but overall momentum feels more mixed compared to past years.
Stable & Involved
Steady participation and dependable membership base
Delta Zeta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Consistent, grounded, and involved without needing to be flashy.
Rebuilding & Repositioning
Actively strengthening recruitment and campus presence
Alpha Xi Delta
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Sigma Sigma Sigma
These chapters appear to be working intentionally to reset and grow.
Rankings aren’t static. Direction and momentum say more than old labels.

Honestly, this is a much better way to look at sororities. It shows direction and momentum, where chapters are actually headed. Auburn isn’t as tier-driven as people try to make it, so this kind of perspective gives you way more insight than any basic “ranking” ever could.

I agree with this. Tiers are getting more irrelevant every year and Auburn is way more momentum and fit now. This is a guide, not a rulebook. One thing I’d add though: that first group is still very in-state/pipeline heavy, which makes a difference for a lot of OOS girls and in state girls who want to branch out and meet new people.

PNMs- you really need to be looking at this post and others like it. Please don’t pay attention to the “rankings” on this site. I don’t think any of those are from actual Auburn Panhellenic members. They are just people coming on here trying to pit sororities against each other. All Auburn sorority members feel like any sorority at Auburn is top and you just need to find where you belong.

And isn’t that the point of college, to branch out and meet new people?
