axo, gphi, sk, dz

how would axo, gphi, sk, and dz be ranked?
I feel like a lot of people on here rank axo better than gphi or sk? but some say gphi and axo are neck and neck, axo is more in state and southern, where gphi is out of state and northern. and sk and dz are similar? what makes axo better than gphi, sk, and dz?

This school is 50% from the Atlanta area, another 30% from the rest of Georgia, and only 20% from everywhere else including international; this is the pnm pool for all of Greek life. There is not a mostly out of state or northern chapter here, you are going to be surrounded in any chapter by a mostly Atlanta-rest of GA-Southern membership. AXO is consistently among the top chapters in GPA; the others you mention are in the middle of the all-sorority GPA averages, which is still excellent. AXO is one of the oldest sorority chapters here, DZ and SK came on in the 60's, GPhiB in the 80's. All of them have a great social calendar. The ONLY thing that matters is a chapter's VIBE and who VIBES with whom. Ranks are ridiculous, stop asking this.

Are you trying to go through rush before you go through rush? Are you trying to pick a sorority before you even get any of their round 1 invitations back? Exercises in futility, rush doesn't work like that. And what if there was a site called 'pnmrank', where random internet strangers ranked all the pnm's and that's what the sororities used to influence them about you?

Stop it! Why are you relying on the anonymous opinion of strangers, rather than what you feel when you actually meet the girls in these houses?
All four are great houses. Do they have different vibes? Yes. But YOU need to figure that out AFTER you get a chance to meet them, not through anonymous opinions.
BTW: Quite likely you will not be invited back to all four of these houses, so this is probably an exercise in futility on your part.

GoGreek! you just sound ignorant and like you have a closed mind. Is a person from New Orleans southern? They have a very different accent than other parts of the south. So do people from the mountains in places like Rome, Georgia. Is a person from Charleston considered southern? That is a bigger town than a lot of places in rural Georgia.
What is the cutoff on town size to be considered "southern"? Is owning some camo clothing does that make me southern"? Family heritage does that mean I had to have someone who fought in the civil war? Lifestyle does that mean I have to hunt? Help me understand why coming from small town Georgia is the only way you can be considered "southern".

Ok, AXO associates with a little better frats than gphi so they are ranked higher. That's it. That is the reason. If that matters to you, then you have your answer. AXO is usually in the top 10. Gphi, SK, and DK are always in the top 15 (in that order).
But that is based on events and socials only. Hopefully that is not all you look at in sororities or you are missing out!

Well, Atlanta is not southern. The majority of GA does not consider people from the Atlanta area as Southern. If you grew up in a McMansion in the suburbs or neighborhoods surrounding Atlanta area or the loop, you are not Southern. There is the South and there is Southern. They are not the same thing. Most people from the Atlanta area do not even have an accent! Location does not make you "southern". Your lifestyle, culture, family heritage, etc make you Southern.
