GoGreek! you just sound ignorant and like you have a closed mind. Is a person from New Orleans southern? They have a very different accent than other parts of the south. So do people from the mountains in places like Rome, Georgia. Is a person from Charleston considered southern? That is a bigger town than a lot of places in rural Georgia. What is the cutoff on town size to be considered "southern"? Is owning some camo clothing does that make me southern"? Family heritage does that mean I had to have someone who fought in the civil war? Lifestyle does that mean I have to hunt? Help me understand why coming from small town Georgia is the only way you can be considered "southern".
