what is pi beta phi like

Doesn’t seem to have a set image they want which is OK! A lot of my pi phi friends love it! Seem to me to be more reserved and not go out a ton! As a whole has super sweet girls! Tends to run in the same circle as alpha gam and dg! Their last few Pcs has seem to be better but lose a lot of girls to other sororities. What matters most is if you think you would fit in.

Don't get your heart set on any one chapter. You need to wait and see if you will even be rushing them at all. If you get to their Round 2 then YOU will see for YOURSELF what their vibe is. What YOU think is the only thing that matters. Don't listen to what anyone else says, including other PNM's and especially random internet strangers. GET OFF THIS SITE.

Yes, it would be cool to get your legacy house, but that really doesn't mean anything in the membership selection process any longer. Round 1 is decided by the sororities before pnm's even get to orientation, and even if you rank them #1 it won't matter, they have already decided who's coming to Round 2.

This is not trying to be mean, just reminding you to not set yourself up for heartache at the first round and negatively affect your rush week. Open mind open mind open mind open mind......

Fun girls, are very big on sisterhood or at least that’s the vibe get. The Pi phis I know go out a good bit but are also academic but still know how to have fun. They get decent socials but I think this year will even better for them bc pc 25 is a lot better than past mcs! I would keep them on your radar and see how it goes during rush :) also try and stay off greek rank

Most people tend to put them just below AGD/DG, but they cross rush a lot and their rising sophomores seem to be a lot more image-focused that their juniors/seniors. Realistically they need a solid PC this year if they want to move back up to mid-tier, but they’re miles ahead of DPhiE/AXiD

i feel like they are very laid back and grounded. not obsessive over appearance, but still cute, chill girls. people tend to group them with DG and AGD but i think they have a different vibe from those two. a little less preppy maybe. but their mascot is an angel for a reason! very kind girls!!

I like the PiPhis! We had a social with them this year (panhellenic mixer), and I was pleasantly surprised. They tend to rank below AGD but better than DG. I think they have the same socials and frat events as those srats do. But in terms of girls, I'd say they are southern and Christian, maybe? Similar to the Holy Trinity Sororities (axo, aoii, zta) but not as high-ranked. More of a mix of girls; like AGD but less consistent in who they get.
