DG used to have a reputation for attracting fun, smart girls, and unfortunately they ride on that reputation even though it's no longer very true. Almost every girl I know in DG is in it for the name, not the people, which seems like a bad reason to be in a sorority. There's no connection between sisters here which has resulted in them being particularly clique-ish

This is the freshest seafood you will get in DC. Amazing clam chowder for the area, and their lobsters are imported fresh from Maine each day. My favorite experience here was the clambake where they had fresh crawfish from Louisiana. Their fish and chips are really crispy on the outside and nice and flakey on the inside, which is really hard to find.

DGs are fun and flirty. Not necessarily a lot of substance, but they generally mean well. DG is the closest to a typical state school sorority (think UVA, USC, UA, IU) and they take pride in it, which is fine. They take their nautical theme to the max... they probably require their pledges to get a tattoo of an anchor with a bow on their ass.
