rushing as a junior transfer
by: ??I'm transferring to Tech as a junior next year and want to join a sorority. Just wondering if it will be hard for me to get a bid/if it'll be weird being two years older than the other girls rushing?

Hey! I transferred into Tech as a junior as well and for me personally I didn't feel that it was hard to get a bid. It was a little weird being two years older than most of the girls at first but it didn't deter me from rushing the entire week and I even forgot that a lot were younger than me. Don't sweat it :)

it just depends what house you want.. as a junior, you probably won't end up in APhi, DG, KD, etc. I rushed as a junior and got back AXO, XO, ADPi, Pi Phi, and KKG... It is definitely harder because as a junior you don't count in their quotas.. I definitely recommend informal rush. That's what I did and love my sorority
