I’ve heard some really crappy things from people who’ve tried to quit. Super cut throat and I just would never call that an actual sisterhood.

Until a few years ago aoii used to be the 'cute, nice, artsy' girl-next-doors that are known to be pretty diverse and down to earth. But they changed a lot recently, now they're trying to move away from the nice girl image and be more like theta. A lot of girls in aoii are ambitious and they should get credit for that, but it's disappointing to see how a lot of them can come off as fake and the ones who don't fit into the white popular sorority girl stereotype are pushed away from the chapter.

aoiis are overall hot and fun. i visited uchicago last year and the only girls worth remembering were in this sorority. most girls at uchicago are pretty bland and unable to talk about anything noteworthy but these girls were actually really interesting.

So basically a review written by someone who probably met five girls total and doesn't even go to this school. KAO and AOII don't really associate, if you actually went here you'd know that. This is not a trustworthy review.

responding to "idiot": lmfao. were you aware theta was started at uchi by girls who didn't get into aoii? tbt to the days when most thetas were aoii try hards and the girls in aoii were bffs with the good thetas (and a few good dgs too). Uchicago is a small place, there is no place for divisiveness to this degree, especially bec, let's be real, everyone joins greek life to hang out with people who have common interests in addition to being academic. No need to have this degree of hatred and vitriol flung at aoiis just because they do things differently or don't reflect your vibe. Feel free to join another sorority (or don't) if you're not into the smart or outgoing group of girls thing. There's a place for everyone at UChi.

Probably my favorite sorority or one of my favorites this year. Aopi has been the only sorority I had fun mixing with they’re fun but they also keep it classy you can tell that they’re not trashy at all. Bunch of pretty and smart girls. i think aopis closest with du and psi u right now. overall great girls I wish more of them showed up to our events but it’s a problem across all sororitys.

AOPi is diverse and filled with women who are smart, driven, humble and social. I have met many and would be surprised when they said they were in a sorority, because they didn’t seem like the cliche “gossipy, cliquey sorority girl.”

As you can tell by all the previous posts AOII girls think very highly of themselves, so much so that they fell the need to make multiple anonymous posts about themselves online! I would not say that these feelings of positivity translate across the rest of the greek community...
