Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Chicago - UC 2.4 I spent a year with DU as an outsider from the university. Apart from a few genuine gentlemen, brotherhood is nonexistent. They go behind each other's backs, speak poorly of one another, and have very little respect of other members. They are fully aware of this situation and some choose to quit the frat discretely instead of speaking up. They are pros for dating trophy girlfriends. Dating for these men is a self-esteem booster, as is their membership with DU.

Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Chicago - UC 4.4 DU probably has the coolest guys at UChicago and definitely the most ambitious -- it shows in their job placements this year. They're not really that involved in terms of social life around campus and I'm unsure about how tight the brotherhood is. But that being said, Heaven and Hell was by far the best party of the year, and girls seem to love hanging around them.

They had a fantastic fall pledge class but kinda went downhill this winter. They got a largely nerdy/unattractive winter class, I was pretty shocked some of those kids got bids. Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Chicago - UC 3.2 They were honestly better before they started trying so hard and thinking they were so great. Still one of the ~5 relevant frats though.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Chicago - UC 4.4 Du has the smartest and most type A guys out of all the frats - it shows in their job placements but they could definitely loosen up a bit. Have apparently ramped up the difficulty of the pledge process drastically. All in all a top house - better than phi delt and sig chi but not completely there yet

Delta Upsilon - ΔΥ Fraternity at University of Chicago - UC 5.0 DU doesn't host the most open parties or have the biggest house, but they are still probably the top house at Uchicago. The guys I know are chill, ambitious, and powerful around the college. I rushed but didn't get a bid, and I feel that a lot .. probably the majority .. of rushes consider DU as their top choice fraternity. It's true that their mixers with the sororities are the most popular .. having spoken to some girls in Theta and AOII they always look forward to mixing with DU.
