auburn 2026 sorority rush

Adpi, AGD- compete for top instate girls. lots of legacies, connections/friends from HS needed
Phi Mu, Gphi, KD- compete for well connected, pretty, smart out of state girls.
Pi Phi, ZTA, Tridelt, AXO- will take girls cut from above OOS houses, with AXO leaning a little more heavily in state. Generally very pretty and outgoing.
XO- in their own category because they will take some girls who are XO or die, and some who are cut from Adpi/AGD, but their rep has suffered recently due to sopro and other issues.
AOPI- very solid mid house for in state girls who still want that very southern, very religious vibe.
DG, DZ, SK, AxiD- take mix of girls released from above. tend to be solid mixes, with SK being a bit more of a party house.
Kappa, Theta- more chill vibe, less rules, less fines. Some really cool involved girls and some weird.
TriSig- Youngest house on campus, still growing, rumored to be leaving to make room for a new Aphi chapter.

First, trust the process. All of the sororities at AU are really good and most would be at the top of sororities at many other schools. This is my 2026 pre-recruitment perception ranking, rather than an objective ranking of chapter quality. These rankings are in no way saying a 'very strong' sorority experience will be better than any other sorority experience. But rather, describe the relative recruitment demand and social perception at AU at this particular moment in time. My emphasis was on the '24 and '25 PC. I expect this list will change after the 26 PC class so I will plan an update next year.

Very Strong ADPi, PiPhi, AGD
Strong+ XO, KD, ZTA, PhiMu
Strong AXO, AOPi, AXiD, GPHi, KKG
Solid DDD, DG, SK, DZ
Niche Theta, Tri-Sig

AXID above tri delt, sk, and dg is genuinely so laughable. not only do they have bad retention but genuinely dont do anything. at least tri delt is known for their philanthropy and leadership, sk is the social/oos friendly chapter, and dg has a strong sisterhood. axid has to cob in both the fall and spring every year and takes at least 10+ cobs vs the other 3 chapters have great retention

agree feel like pi phi goes for same girls as gphi and even phi mu to an extent
