Top houses (KD, ZTA, DDD, AOPI, DG) have the prettiest general population but can also the very catty. A lot of them party hard if that's your thing.
Middle houses (ADPI, THETA, DZ, PI PHI, XO, DPHIE) have mostly very pretty girls, some average though. They generally have the best sisterhood and have a good work/play balance.
Bottom houses (AXO, KKG, GPHIB, SK, AEPHI) are mostly comprised of below average to average looking girls and a few pretty girls too. They tend to have good sisterhoods but less than stellar social lives.

ADPI's pledge classes are becoming more and more religious (not necessarily a bad thing, just not characteristic of top tier) and less of those "gorgeous" type girls you usually see in top tier as well. In my opinion, they're more toward middle, which clearly isn't a bad thing

I forgot to mention Phi Mu, which belongs in the category with the bottom houses.
