Living in a female dorm?

Is it worth staying at an all female dorm for freshman year if you want to rush? So far I've heard very mixed reviews and my future roommate and I are about to reserve our room at ivy house! So any opinions/tips are very welcomed :)

also, a lot of the girls there were innovation or pace and thought partying was a personality trait. i mean i’m also a sorority girl but some of these girls were downright annoying

Way to many pace and innovation girls. They party to much ! Do not care about grades!
