Dropping From Sorority

Is the process for dropping the same for all sororities? I don't want to ask at mine because there's a lot of drama and I haven't decided, but I'm leaning that way. Life is too short to feel like crap all the time because of people who are supposed to be your sisters:( I'm not saying it's always that way- just for me. PNMs there are good experiences out there!

in my house you just contact the president and ask for the drop forms. my house makes it simple tho. i have heard that houses like ADPI and SK (maybe others do this, but mine doesn’t) make the member write a letter and it’s read out loud at chapter. lots of houses have a good amt of drops over the summer so i wouldn’t stress it

when I dropped I had to text the president and return all of my stuff w letters. she the. asked if there was anything they could have done for me to stay and after answering that I just left. very chill

No they dont read your letter of resignation at chapter. Not at mine. They keep it on the downlow.

So my little dropped after I spent about $400 on her during big/little (I really wanted her to be happy apparently?) but she never returned any of the stuff I bought/made for her with letters- and I really want to take a new little and use some of the super nice stuff I already bought. Shouldn't she give that stuff back? It kind of bummed me out that she dropped and left without telling me- but then again she is also a double major in two very hard fields so I do get it.
