Is it true they have to initiate all of their pledges?

Yes, they are required to initiate all their pledges within 48 hours. However, it doesn't seem to have hurt them either at UF or at FSU.
SAE is very selective. They won't pledge a guy unless they fell they can initiate him in 48 hours. SAE has found a better way to be a fraternity.

Pledging is a major part of being a fraternity it’s what separates it from being a club

SAE just found a way to make the best of what their nationals are forcing on them

They’re not a better fraternity in any way because of this
