rushing

by: Freshman

I want to rush phi delt but I keep hearing they're gonna get kicked off campus. Can someone give me a breakdown on whether or not this will actually happen? I heard about sig ep last fall and I don't want to waste a whole semester pledging only to get dropped and have to do it again.

1 more mishap and they are done. Not having a spring pledge class is the first warning sign. Pledge at your own risk. Sigep misled fall 12 as to how in trouble they were. i personally wouldnt join a fraternity that only needs one more strike

Actually the big warning sign of getting kicked off is a membership review, which sig ep had. SAE lost their spring pledges two years ago and they are still here.

I wouldn't worry about it too much a lot of fraternities have been saying it to rushees to try to get them to not rush phi delt. Guarantee the places you keep hearing it at are wannabe-top tier fraternities like ZBT,theta chi, and pike.

The difference phidelt and sigep is nationals became cutthroat with the UF chapter. Sigep withdrew it's charter and then the school kicked em off. Phidelt is more in trouble with the school itself. Things can go sour pretty fast though

SAE has been on the deferred suspension (which phi delt got put on) for 2 years now and haven't been kicked off. If they haven't, I doubt phi delt will. Just my two cents

Practically every frat is on some kind of suspension. Go on the IFC website and check it out. But not being able to take a spring class is not a good sign for how they are standing with the school.
