Since guys can go wherever, how many should I go to and how do people pick where to go?

Six at first, then narrow it down to 2-3 you're serious about.

Just walk down row, and have lunch with different houses. If you like the guys there then stay and go for dinner and formal recruitment. Easy and simple.
