I had this same exact mentality during rush last year and it was the worst mistake I made. I'm a very chill laid back person who thought they were looking for someone bubbly and hyper, which definitely came off as fake because it's just not me. My advice would be to completely be yourself and sell your passions and the interesting parts about you, as well as to display genuine interest in the girls rushing you as well. Also don't talk about being smart because this is Uf and every girl going through rush is bound to be smart .

Especially in the earlier rounds, whatever makes you memorable and is bound to put a smile on the girls face when thinking about you, say it and own it !!

Just try to be relaxed. It wasn't until I realized that Greek life wasn't necessary and that I was just going to do me and see what came out of it, that the process started working out in my favor and I ended up in a house that I loved. Wish that I did better in round 1, but I definitely ended up where I should be. This is my best advice. We don't want anything in particular . Just be yourself and the chapters that appreciate you will continue to invite you back.
