"bad" v "good" sororities
by: annoyedI really hate the fact that people call certain sororities "bad" and certain ones "good." top tier doesn't make you good and bottom tier doesn't make you bad. Most of the bottom tier houses seem to have the best sisterhood. I'm in a middle tier house, but i truly hate when someone refers to a lower tier as "bad." no house is better than another. We all join a sorority to join a sisterhood. Please stop comparing them and being pretentious to "lower tiers." we're all the same. PAN LOVE PEOPLE!

top houses-ADPI, KD, ZTA,DDD,DG.
top frats-Pike, SAE, ATO, sigma chi, beta.
THESE HOUSES RULE UF. GET OVER IT. WHEN YOU ACCOMPLISH WHAT THEY DO, THEY YOUR CAN TALK ABOUT HOW GREAT THE MIDDLE TO LOWER TIERS REALLY ARE?

I am amazed about how much hate towards the top tier houses. TOP HOUSES ARE VERY INVOLVED ON CAMPUS LIFE AND DESERVE THEIR RANKINGS AS THEY ARE VERY INVOLVED IN CAMPUS ACTIVITIES.

okay i agree top tiers real the school but "when you accomplish what they do"??? and "very involved" ok lower tier people are also very involved too... Greek life overall is

Is like a country club, they can be selective on which person gets to be invited into the club. Some of the country clubs are top notch, have awesome members, some are sub par, like the middle to lower tier houses.

okay honestly I am in one of the "top tier"/"good" houses that was listed and I find this to be completely ridiculous. I chose my house because I loved it and that's what girls in "middle" and "lower" tier houses do as well. My best friend knew from round 2 which house she wanted to be in because she cliqued so well with the girl rushing her and wanted it to be her home. So yes, from round 2 before she was even cut from a "top house" she wanted to be in a "middle tier." Don't be so superficial and think they everyone wants to be in ZTA ADPI KD DDD DG / whatever. My other friend actually cut my house, a "top house", because it didn't feel right.

top houses do not chose PNM on looks alone, that is crazy. We look at the entire person, their personality, study habits, involvement in clubs on Campus, as they honor students. It is the whole person, not the looks what so ever. The top houses have members that have external and internal beauty, classy, smart, out going. The only house that choses their member on beauty alone is ZTA. I have to admit that the top houses have the hottest ladies on campus.

ZTA definitely doesn't choose on looks alone. DDD, DG, and KD definitely do. ZTA actually has strong leadership in their house despite their catty sisterhood. I stuck around ZTA for a couple rounds before I ended up choosing my "middle tier" house. I would say I'm above average when it comes to looks, definitely not the kind of person a house would keep if they were just looking for a hot girl.

I agree.. you did not get a bid from a top tier, otherwise you would have joined that house. Rejects in the middle to lower tiers.
