Sororities can give COBs in the spring without participating in spring recruitment. It just meant they already knew who they wanted to give bids to and didn’t participate in open recruitment. I’m guessing that’s what XO and DG did if they had spring classes.

That’s just not how it works. There’s a quota if you meet the quota you can’t take any more girls. If you’re not participating in recruitment you can’t take more girls. It’s not the same as frat rush.

What goes into Spring COB has nothing to do with sisterhood. Sure girls drop, but it is extremely uncommon they do so in the middle of the fall semester. When 10-15 seniors in a sorority graduate early in the fall, that means in the spring a sorority will have to participate in spring COB. Nothing to do with sisterhood.

This is just not true lmao, it has to do with graduating seniors and girls who drop, which every single sorority will have regardless of their “rank”. Sororities do COB to hit their maximum and make more money, NOT because they have bad retention. XO also did do COB, and needed more girls than most of the other sororities
