sorority rush gpa and transfer

Do sororities care a lot about your gpa for rush? And is it harder to get into a top tier sorority as a sophomore spring transfer who doesn't know anyone?

A lot of the top tier sororities cut girls for gpa after the first round so yes, I would say it is, but like you won’t not get into any sororities because of a bad gpa, maybe just not a top tier. Getting to know people will help you out ALOT

people say GPA matters but they don't seem to care if you took super easy classes to get a high GPA. So just take easy classes.

That's actually true. It's funny because Nationals only appears to care about gpa, not about how rigorous your course load is. There's a huge difference between say Business, Chem. Kinesiology/pre Med , Engineering vs communications, education , art etc. Think most sororities prefer high gpa artist over an average Miami Business student. LOL. Heads up, the sororities with the highest gpa's have some of the highest percentages of the latter majors. Truth.
