rushing frats

So I wasn't able to go out much this semester since I screwed up a bit with a lot of stuff. Cause of this I didn't meet many guys in fraternities and am now nervous about rush since I don't have these connections. What frats could I look at that are still decent but where I can go in not knowing many guys?

Is it worth going to better houses as well? I know that I have a lot of recommendations and things set up but I just don't know many guys.

Accept that you're behind. Use any connection you have like girls you know with friends in a house, people from HS even if they weren't friends. Find a connection and meet with them and explain your situation. Without a connection nobody is looking out for you during formal rush and you'll fall into the masses bucket. The top 50% of houses have been working on their pledge classes since the summer.
