Zeta Beta Tau - ΖΒΤ Fraternity at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo - CP 4.8 These guys are chill as hell, I feel they will show the other frats what true gentlemen are like. Even though I am a guy, who isn't even in a frat, I have met a lot of ZBT members from the newest pledge class in Fall and they are all so stoked and nice. I will be attempting to join this one in the winter because it is the only that seems like genuine guys that care.

These guys are chill as hell, I feel they will show the other frats what true gentlemen are like. Even though I am a guy, who isn't even in a frat, I have met a lot of ZBT members from the newest pledge class in Fall and they are all so stoked and nice. No pledge process and I've met what are SUPPOSED to be "pledges" talking down to other pledges of a real fraternity simply because they're "initiated."

Zeta Beta Tau - ΖΒΤ Fraternity at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo - CP 1.8 ZBT definitely has a presence on campus, but this fraternity is run in a way that is completely wrong. No pledge process = no brotherhood. Pledging (no matter what you go through) is the ultimate bonding experience between brothers. They give bids to everyone and their moms and their newest initiate class is bigger than their entire chapter. IMO, if my fraternity just initiated 47 new guys after meeting them 3 days ago, I'd say the brotherhood is pretty damn weak, maybe the weakest on campus.

Notice that I said "new members", not "pledges", because they don't even have a pledging process. What a joke. How can you get to know people when you don't have a pledge process and have more new members than actives? When a frat doubles it's numbers in one recruitment, you know it's desperate.
