I definitely agree that Alpha Sigma Tau is one of the friendliest chapters on campus and has a really strong sense of sisterhood. I honestly think those are some of the most important things you can find in a sorority, and it's something our chapter genuinely prides itself on. We are a close group that is okay with being silly and honestly our true selves around one another. That being said, I don't think this comment really knows our chapter. We were honored with this year's Exceptional Involvement Award through Fraternity and Sorority Life, and our sisters stay involved through local philanthropy’s and campus events. We may not be the biggest chapter or the loudest on campus, but we do make an effort to be involved and build connections with other Greek organizations, especially with collaborating with other smaller sororities! I also think it's worth mentioning that recruitment has been a challenge for a lot of organizations lately, not just AST. Chapter sizes across campus have changed, so that's not something unique to us. At the end of the day, being a smaller chapter has given a lot of our members opportunities to step into leadership, make a real impact, and build real friendships. As the Alpha Chapter, we are so proud of our history, but we are even more excited about where we are headed. If you're looking for a chapter where you'll be known, supported, and have the chance to grow as a leader, Alpha Sigma Tau is a great place to be!!

These young women were helpful and very friendly during my tour. They seemed to have positive attitude and outlook.

Alpha Tau has really improved since they rejoined campus. The sisters are so nice, they are close knit, one of the best chapters on campus. Have surpassed other chapters that used to be top houses.

Unfortunately I don’t know many girls from AST. Pretty friendly. A bit less social than others. Nothing really bad to say.

I am assuming they are nice on campus in a group or in organized University activities, but outside I have experienced very immature clique mindset, along with some over privileged behavior and self righteousness. They seem very close to each other, but closed off to other groups or individuals not directly affiliated with their sorority. There is an open mind, and accepting front put out on SNS and among some members, but don’t expect that treatment to last long if you question or disagree on a situation. Overall, I was not expecting a fake attitude and unrealistic expectations but that was what I was met with (in my own experience). Hopefully, there can be more improvement as they seem to be pretty intelligent and most have their hearts in the right place. More sincerity and understanding of others would be welcome. All the best for their future 💚

They’re kinda fake these are the girls that were snitches in high school. They snitch on parties fraternities anything that’s fun

Seriously full of some sweet girls, they love to have fun together and all seem so close. It’s great that they have such a strong sense of sisterhood, but they have really been struggling to gain new members for a while and I can’t say for certain if AST will still be around in the next year or so, which is sad because it’s the alpha chapter.
