Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at East Tennessee State University - ETSU 5.0 I am an alumnae from this chapter and I can personally say this website is just used for bullying. The derogatory comments made regarding this chapter having no sisterhood, being uninvolved on campus, and keeping to themselves are far from the truth. Because of Alpha Delta Pi I have found my best friends who will be bridesmaids at my wedding and Godmothers to my future children. From PJ movie nights, borrowing clothes for a date, celebrating birthdays and engagements, to having a sister pick you up at 3am after a fun night-- I experienced a true sisterhood. This chapter is made of up so many unique, smart, and beautiful women. Alpha Delta Pi has athletic women on the soccer team, wrestling team, cheer, dance, etc.; Roan Scholars; Resident Advisors; Preview and Orientation Leaders; Student Government Association exec leaders; Homecoming Queens; Miss Tennessee Pageant Queens; involved in campus ministries; artsy women who like to draw, paint, and sing, etc. There is a place for everyone and yes, I knew all 140+ of my sisters names. Additionally, I had a job and supported myself in college, like many other ADPi's, so the comments about everyone coming from wealthy families are completely untrue. Alumnae are made up of so many successful business women, teachers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, community leaders, etc. Alpha Delta Pi is very involved with their philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House, we raised over $27,000 in just one event when I was in school. We won ETSU's overall Homecoming competition 3 years in a row. Alpha Delta Pi has the highest GPA of all the Panhellenic sororities and remains above the overall women's average on campus. I had and still have very close friendships with women in other chapters, my roommate was even in a different chapter. In closing, ALL of the sororities at ETSU are unique and amazing in their own right. I am disappointed to see so many derogatory remarks made towards ETSU's Greek life. These comments absolutely do not represent these chapters. My advice to Potential New Members is to ignore rumors and gossip and to trust your gut when going through recruitment. Going Greek is the best decision you will ever make! Congratulations to all the new Alphas, cherish this special time, it passes so quickly!

While I hope that they can break this and become a more loving sisterhood, money and looks aside, I'm not sure if its going to happen anytime soon. These girls truly pick apart everyone coming through and of other chapters & I am guilty myself. I look back ashamed that I ever took part. And it is clear that this is catching up to them, especially with recent political events.. I do call myself an Alpha Delta Pi. But not of this chapter.

Also, your parents have to pay for everything you do. They only care about money and looks. Sometimes there is a rare one youll meet that is actually nice. But most of them are just stuck up rich girls.

Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at East Tennessee State University - ETSU 3.4 They are very involved on campus. However I have heard from many members in the sisterhood that they stay in it for the label and so they can say they are in ADPI not for he sisterhood. I’ve heard it is very fake within the sisterhood and is more Of a status symbol.

Some girls were even asked what their parents did for a living during recruitment. Definitely not a sisterhood someone should want to be apart of.
