Frats trending……

by: Rumerz

With fall rush to officially begin, a lot of interesting changes this summer/fall.
Pike is pike and KA is KA. Both those groups will get their type of dudes and I feel those are the two strongest frats- just an opinion.
But a lot of talk all summer/early fall for both SigEp and Fiji locking up good classes so far and have strong rush.
Housing futures for both SAE and DX seem to be a major concern. They have plans for next year?
SX and their new house been a topic which should help them big this fall. Some surprise prebid numbers for Chi Phi and PhiDelt’s rebuilding.

Lambda getting their house back is huge- even if it’s just the back part.

No lies. Some of what I heard when I got back a few weeks ago. FYI- KS having a good pre rush class, too.

This is accurate. What really matters is how quickly SAE/DX figure out their housing situations.

Phi Delt/SX probably aren’t being very selective. If Phi Delt is supposed to move in next fall and SX the fall after they need to boost their numbers fast.

But honestly, you need numbers for $$$, then can get more selective. Look at SAE, they’re huge, but can’t pay for that house. They need a new solution bad.

I get phidelt, but why would SX need the numbers when they’ve raised most of the money needed? It’s not a 60 bedroom house like phidelts will be

I actually don’t think SX is inflating numbers… just think a lot of talk of their new house is driving a lot of interest.
It’s a few years away, but their alumni are strong and that house will drive them to a top house after it’s built. That location is perfect.

Sigma Chi will become one of the new top fraternities. The alum who bought their lot also owns the construction company that is building the house. It’s a great deal. One guy financing everything. The occupied house is only 12 Sq ft but there’s an additional underground parking. Great location. It’s like all of sudden fsu is getting great fraternity housing. SX and SPE across the street from each other. Pike, LXA and Phi Delt in big houses in HG. KA, Kap Sig and Fiji along College and Park. All privately owned by the chapters. Good for FSU.

Yeah- there will be 3 areas w nice houses-
Heritage (pike, lambda, Phi delt), College Ave (KA, KS, Fiji-hearing they have plans to rebuild or majorly renovate their house, OX) and College Town (SX/Sigep).
Before they got kicked a few yrs back, chi phi was supposed to build a mansion on their property right near SigEp/SX and they finally growing again. That would form the three areas of nice fraternity housing at FSU. Good for all-

I agree with just about everything that’s being said. This is my fifth year and I have never seen numbers like these, and this much enthusiasm for rush. The big fraternities’ pledge classes are going to be huge. Great news for the IFC and the whole Greek system and FSU.
