would being a golden girl help in rush?

Yeah I know it's really competitive, very talented girls don't make the cut sometimes, and nothing is guaranteed so I'm asking from a theoretical standpoint. Would a sorority want me more if I was a golden girl? This isn't plan of action, just genuine curiosity

I have "the look" I suppose, and definitely the talent. My family is well off enough for me to afford college without much of a strain, but it's not like they have cash to throw away to GG like its nothing. I'm not trying to act like I'm going to make it, it was just pure curiosity. I'm a legacy to KD through my older sisters and just wanted to know if it'd better my chances getting a bid there supposing it worked out. If it doesn't work that way no big deal!

Don't listen to the girl "So you want to be a GG" above. You don't need to donate money to get in. It's not about who your dad knows. I won't lie though, it is very heavily weighted towards looks. So yes, they will overlook an amazing dancer who is just average looking for a decent dancer who is beautiful. However, the girls I know that are GGs are all absolute sweethearts. It's like a sorority in and of itself - most of them are very close and spend more time with each other than with their sorority. I had one in my PC and she dropped out of the sorority because she was too busy with class & GGs - that's how closely-knit they are. I have no doubt that there is some occasional drama because girls will be girls, but it's really a sisterhood.

Also to answer your original question, yes, if you can make it on the GG team sororities will be fighting over you during rush

Honestly girl, get off of this website. None of us can tell you with certainty what house you would fit in (or which houses you'll actually end up liking) just based off the fact that you want to get involved in golden girls because we have never met you in person. I know your anxious to know where you will end up but just wait. Also, I would be careful with what you say on here. Houses pay attention to things that are said here and you just narrowed yourself down that you have multiple sisters that are KD legs and you are a big dancer. Doesn't seem that anonymous anymore does it?
