Can't quite figure it out

How can the sororities on this campus be so strong and the frats such losers? My younger brother knew how much I like Greek life, and both of our parents were Greeks on SEC campuses. We all assumed he would join a frat. Instead no frat guy he talked to could hold a conversation, they were obsessed with how much they could drink, they repeatedly talked about getting women drunk and taking advantage of them, and they were so effing proud of those hideous red hats. It's like a parallel universe. Can anyone explain?

I just think guys are much less mature than women our age. The pandemic didn't help. There are guys out there that are worth our time, but most of them aren't in fraternities.
