commencement

by: So happy

Yup, commencement means both an end and a beginning. I couldn't be more thrilled with my degree, the knowledge I have gained from expert faculty members and the job I will be starting at the end of the month. But I also am sad that it is the end of four perfect years. We hug each other and vow to stay close, but my closest friends (all sorority sisters) have accepted jobs in Dallas, Austin, Chicago, K.C., Atlanta and Denver (me). What will I do without them?

I'm not sure I understand. I do have an arts-related degree. Were you making fun of me? If so, I'm not sure I understand what I did to deserve it.
