why is theta always ranked last?
by: OpJust wondering what people actually think of them since they're top in pan points and did really well in the grade report this fall but everyone seems to hate them.

people don't really hate them, in fact people say they're one of the most likeable sororities. but they have been on the bottom for a couple years now, and last semester they were on probation so a lot of the good-looking freshman girls dropped because of that, and they didn't get a very good pledge class this year to begin with. they just have a lot of girls who aren't good looking and theres a lot of awkward girls. also from what i've been hearing lately their sisterhood isnt that good either. also, they aren't getting a new house anytime soon and pretty much every other sorority either has a new house or has plans for one, so that will really hurt them in the next few years

sisterhood, looks, and the house are pretty important factors especially here at alabama, sisterhood being the most important people would argue..

She did say something positive. She said theta was one of the most likable houses on campus. As a pnm, this was a big deal to me and I actually dropped one house because I knew it was a house that wasn't liked by other sororities and I knew there had to be a reason.

Gphi has been machine for what, a month? I wonder how they feel about people crediting the success they've probably worked hard for to their new affiliation. I would be pissed

I'm a GPhi and what "well" said is actually accurate. Yes, we've worked very hard to improve our pledge classes, but joining the machine has been in the works since last spring. I might actually drop because of it...
The Machine goes against everything our nationals believe in.

That doesn't make it okay with me. The thing I liked about GPhi was that we weren't in the Machine. So, the fact that you think it's okay pretty much confirms why I should drop; You're willing to compromise sisterhood for popularity.

I know for a fact Gphi didn't ask internationals because our advisors don't even know...

I used to think they were about even with DG and G Phi but in recent years G Phi has moved up a lot and even DG is way better than Theta now. You just need to look at which girls go to which houses. Theta got probably the worst new class this year and you can blame it on probation but I think they were in trouble long before that. They're a very awkward house and that's just the truth.

Sororities: Endless ranking to see who is best in order to pump one's ego because they don't know how to feel even remotely good about themselves otherwise. Girls go Theta because they don't care about all that crap.
Great house with good sisterhood and good grades. What else do you NEED (not want)?

Did you cover everything? Anything else negative you wish to add? You said nothing positive. Let's see: it's all based on a new house, looks, and sisterhood. And you are in which house so I can join that mentality?
