rush
by: PNMI am so nervous for rush, I'm from OOS and don't really have many contacts at the university, will this hurt my chances at a good sorority?

Rethink what you mean by a "good" sorority. When girls look at greek rank lists and listen to ignorant tent talk about what the "good" sororities are they often choose houses based on gossip instead of how they feel about the girls they've met. At Bama the greeks all get along and the hateful stuff you see written on here is generally from older alumnae who are talking up their house to make it more attractive to their daughters coming up.
OOS girls are in every house, even old row. Some have said that OOS girls have problems in old row houses because so many of the girls are connected by generations of ties. You can decide that for yourself, but know that you can find a place if you are in the right place emotionally.
