zeta and alpha phi
by: CuriousWhat are the differences between the two? They seem so similar- esp. the pledge classes.

They're very similar, but ZTA is much more established (and therefore much higher in "rank"), and APhi's GPA is the worst of all sororities (ZTA's is second to last). They're both known for taking pretty, fun, party girls, and (even though ZTA usually gets higher quality NMs bc of being so established/higher ranked) some of the girls are promiscuous (APhi seems to have more of this reputation than ZTA though, again, probably bc of rankings). Neither is known for having the closest sisterhood, although I'm sure both ZTAs and APhis have genuine best friends in their sororities. The other issue is that, while ZTA is relatively high in ranking and APhi is not, neither of them are very Panhellenic, and most other sororities struggle to get along with or respect them. This is an issue simply bc the other 14 groups generally support each other and get along really well. So-each is known for taking pretty, outgoing, party girls, some are promiscuous (and yes, all houses have this problem but these 2 have that reputation for a reason), both have terrible GPAs, not so close sisterhoods, and issues getting along with other sororities. So the main difference is that ZTA is much higher ranked due to being on campus so long, and they generally have better/more well rounded PCs than APhi does. Girls go in to rush wanting to be a ZTA, or realize during the process that they would be happy there; girls rarely go in to rush wanting to be an APhi, and accept their bid just so they can be Greek

Funny how a low GPA is somehow associated with promiscuity in posters interpretation. News flash, this is not unique to certain houses. Regardless of sisterhood, GPA, panhellenic participation, promiscuity is not unique to one house. With your sweeping generalities about these two houses your post reads as hate. Panlove
