Any specifics involving chapter meetings is ritual and can't be discussed outside of the sorority. Chapter set-up varies between the organizations. My biological sister and I are in the same organization at different schools--her chapter is much, much smaller than mine (~80 girls vs 300+ girls). Our organization has a modified set-up for larger chapters so we aren't in chapter all night. I imagine that all organizations have something similar.

I don't know everyone in my chapter. I don't even know every single person in my pledge class. I had a class with a sister a couple semesters ago and didn't know it for a good three weeks because I didn't know the sister at all. With houses as large as Bama's, you won't know everyone. It's impossible.
