serious question
by: Just Wondering
Pledge classes are huge. So my question is how can ANYONE except maybe the invitation committee of each house know what kind of pledge class each house has. Have those of you who are ranking and bashing viewed each and every woman in each pledge class? Have you reviewed their grades and come up with a GPA for each PC? Have you reviewed their activities and more importantly, does your crystal ball tell you what they are going to be involved in at UA? Do you know what kind of reputation each woman will establish for herself?
I am willing to bet everything that each house took at least one who is not great looking. I am willing to bet that some with a great gpa will come to UA and flunk out. I bet that some who did everything in high school will do nothing at UA beyond partying or will fall in love and lose interest in everything else. Some great looking girls with great grades and activities will get away from home and go completely wild.
The bottom line is there is NO WAY any of you can rank all the PCs. I graduated 2 years ago and was involved with my house's invitation committee. IMHO, we got great women. Did we get everyone we wanted? No. But I am extremely pleased with who we got, an overall attractive group of women with good grades and activities that will enhance our house. But even with what I KNOW, I can't predict what will happen to these girls in the next 4 years.
So please stop it.

You do realize that some people get on this site and actually pay attention. Do you hate other sororities bad enough that you want people dropping out?
Please give it a rest.
The bottom line is beyond the 2 or 3 that always stay at or near the "top" and the 3 extremely blue blooded groups there really is very little difference in the rest, other than some houses are more financially secure than others.
