It's like a train wreck.....

I graduated in May.I'm on here because I just can't look away like a train wreck.YY is definitely more of actual college kids here it is more moms and alumni.Truth is freshmen year -no not all houses are great.It's a fact.The fraternities only are able to have a certain amount of swaps so they only want who their members find to be the prettiest or most fun.Yes,all soroities have swaps but some are with not so great fraternities.Then every once and a while a top frat house will swap with a mid sorority but put it on like a Monday.The fraternities may also cancel on the sorority where their members don't want to swap with and say oh they double booked or didn't get their insurance in time.
Grades and philanthropy-they don't tell you how you are almost bullied if you don't make grades or you don't show up for an event or raise the required money for the philanthropy.And in a house of almost 500 girls you bet there are clicks and boyfriend stealing,etc. Check tt and you will see how many girls drop their sorority for whatever reason: bad leadership,mean girls,values aren't the same,money (I did pay about 9000 a year), or they feel they are a bottom house.
One more thing-they promise connections-that does work for fraternities but out of all of my friends(in different sororities)not one got a lead from a sorority connection unless maybe they were going to stay in Birmingham,Nashville,or Atlanta.
Good things from when I was last rushing:Aphi used to be bashed on here and now it isn't as bad at all good for them.Gphi has been known as the jersey sorority for the past few years.That's okay.Old row houses are still ranked top on here as those moms have always worked the hardest.
