Work week theme question

Hi! I am here from tiktok bc i’m so curious. Do the sororities get a list of work week themes to choose from or is it fully up to them? I just think it’s so odd how each year it seems like the all the sororities cycle through the same themes. Like this year the rain theme and 50s theme seems really popular but in years past the 80s and hometown theme were popular?
