NR/OR?? I’m curious

I don’t even go to bama but im curious.. is the top new row house worse then bottom of old row houses? Like is old row more desired? I’m just so confused

For sororities I would say OR is generally more desired. For fraternities, they’re j completely different and someone from Alabama will claim OR is better where someone out of state will swear by NR. Just different flavors

It’s no different for fraternities. Someone from Alabama will always claim OR is better. For both sororities and fraternities there are several NR options that are as desirable, even more desirable, than bottom OR, it’s just the old guard refusing to admit that some of those bottom OR houses aren’t really all that

I would rank AGD and KD as the bottom 2 of old row.

The top of NR (Zeta) is a totally different vibe house than the bottom of OR (AGD). Most pnm who want gam wouldn’t want ZTA and vice versa.

The other bottom of OR houses are typically more desired than houses considered the top of NR tho.

The biggest difference for guys:

The best NR fraternities get some of the top Alabama guys.

The best OR fraternities do not generally get many of the top non-Alabama guys.

The truth that so many people here will never admit to is that a lot of OOS and OOR girls prefer NR houses to OR ones.
