what to do for cob

I went through rush and had two houses left at the end that I didn’t feel like I belonged with so I dropped. I want to do cob for the spring. Do I need to start reaching out to girls involved in houses listed on the Panhellenic website or what? Does it help to still have recs from alumni reach out on my behalf? How can I stand out?
