Comparing food options
by: HungryOk so I know once you've accepted a bid you have to have the Bama 55 meal plan unless you upgrade to something higher. My parents really want to upgrade my Alabama meal plan because they don't think I'll make it to the house for most of my meals/will want to eat either other friends and so on. I think that would be a waste of money tbh. Yes I'll be living in Prez but I see my self making it to house for at least 2 meals everyday during the week, eating out a decent bit, having meals in my dorm for early mornings/late nights or if the weather is really bad and then STILL HAVING the 55 Bama meals as back up. She's worried about the quality/variety of food in the house. Lol I know this sounds stupid, I just don't want them to waste money. And this is a question for me, if you don't live in house can you still come by on the weekend for snacks?

You basically got it right. I think I maybe went to dining hall my freshman year MAYBE 40 total times for freshman year and I lived in Tut. Between house meals, going out to eat/Uber eats/fast food, breakfast in my dorm I only ever went to the dining hall on Sundays or if I was studying with someone between classes. I would get late plates alot and save them for the weekend. The food in your house is always going to be better.
