is theta really bottom?
by: not affiliatedlooking through their insta and seeing their members there's a lot of pretty girls in their pledge class this year. why are they always ranked so low, from appearances they are def higher than sigma kappa. im not affiliated w any chapter btw :)

Theta being a bottom house here has always been very confusing to me lol. like literally everywhere else they’re either upper mid to top house but here they’re bottom?? like at uga they’re top, oklahoma they’re one of the top, smu they’re top, ut austin, texas tech, yale, columbia, usc, michigan state, ucla etc… i don’t understand what happened here but i think it’s cause of them not joining the machine here.

There are bad chapters too. Theta had to close at Ole Miss and Clemson. Every chapter is different. National rep is non-existent; it's all about the chapters. With that said, Theta here is a great chapter with some stellar girls and people care about stupid meaningless labels and ranks way too much.

Theta was chartered here in the late 1960s and at Clemson and Ole Miss in the '70s. At SEC schools, older is just perceived as better, and "newer" chapters aren't always able to compete with the ones founded 80-100+ years ago. Bama Theta doesn't struggle, though -- they wouldn't have gotten their mansion if they did.

Chapters are different across the country like??? Just because they’re good else where doesn’t mean they are going to be here. Also any new/newish chapter is just not going to be ranked as high as established chapters
