will i have time for a job
by: joblessi know this isn’t the best place to ask anything on, but i’m going to rush next year at bama and was just wondering if i would have enough time to be in a sorority and have a job while also being a student?
#3 by: Yes!
I had an afternoon weekday job in a daycare, a job at little shop on Saturday mornings and a job at a church on Sunday mornings and had a leadership position in my sorority and was a full time student. You can definitely have a job as long as it doesn't go too far into the evenings when the schedule could mess with events and meetings, mine were perfect.

i definitely would try to wait for the semester after your first as a new member. new members have to be at the house almost constantly and have more meetings than actives usually. there are also other social parts of greek life like swaps and date parties, and you’re getting used to college academics also. you really don’t want to overextend yourself because u will burn out quickly. if anything wait until after initiation to get a job
#5 by: Depends on you
If you are super organized and can let everyone know your schedule, then yes. There are MANY girls who have jobs. But, constantly asking for forgiveness when you forget to send an email or message to your chapter that you have to work or forgot you have to do something for class won’t win you any favors and will make you look like you don’t care.
