Fair ranks with explanations

by: Ranks

AXO, DDD, XO, AGD, KKG,
PM, KD
ZTA, PI PHI, ADPi
DG, AOPi, APHI
Gphi, DZ, KAT
SK

No order within tiers. All of old row is top but PM and KD have slipped the past few years. ZTA is a great house but in no way are they top bc they have to COB. ADPi and pi phi are great too and have a good mix of party and smart girls. DG, AOPi, and APHI are solid houses. The rest are struggling, but GPhi and DZ seem to be doing better.

This one is solid. I think PM and XO could switch though.

Switch DG and AOPi with DZ and GPhi and move ADPi down one, then it's good.

You know how people judge house stereotypes?

Ranks should be judged based on the type of girl who created it.

This one is “Ranked by a southern, mega church HS girl with a closet full of Vineyard Vines. Studious and decent looking but not into looks and insecure about some houses as a result. A little nervous about partying and fraternity guys. Mostly gets the vibe of houses, but also a few misses”. \n\n\n\n\n

No one wears vineyard vines. Also why would a mega church girl put kappa on top?

Fair commentary on the “likely” poster - plenty of closets full Vineyard Vines and she did note there were a few misses - KKG and DDD, if you ask me.

I have never seen any sorority girl wear vineyard vines on this campus...troll post. This rank seems pretty fair

Trolls assume that because VV was popular in the south and guys wore it for a while that the girls must wear it too. I have never seen greek girls in VV all the time or at all really, nor did I in HS.

Maybe the reason that a lot of NR or party houses in general have girls drop and then COB is in part because the people who tend to bid those houses aren’t as set on the sorority process as OR members are. Like for most OR girls they’ve been planning on this moment for most of their lives but girls from OOS or OOR may not be as sold on the whole process, and would be more likely to drop their sorority completely or drop and rush again.

completely agree. also there are some southern girls in new row still but a lot of new row girls are Out of state or could also be far out of region so a lot of times these people may not even stay at the university for 4 whole years being far away, or a lot of times once parents see the financial commitments they choose to drop, and sometimes freshman not used to being so far away from their home state may get homesick and leave freshman year. most of old row is southern girls who have been bred to be in old town houses so they’re prepared for it and nothing really would cause them to drop. do girls drop out of old row houses? yes. but normally they still make quota so they just don’t need to get more girls through cob.

A much larger majority of OR girls have been aware of the sorority rush process their entire life, most likely heard stories about it their entire life, and therefore are less likely to drop because they genuinely believe in the “sisters for life thing” (not a bad thing.)

There are some new row houses that do a way better job at retaining members though

I think the only houses that tend to have a lot of girls drop are the “looks” houses. NR grades/girl next door houses have great retention, and obviously OR has great retention.
