Do you not know how COB works? Chapters pick and choose who they reach out to. It’s very possible has been reaching out to girls other than yourself and may have reached out to girls who signed up for COB but didn’t do real rush.

That is actually a tried and true strategy. A good play. Many great girls do not participate in formal recruitment for various reasons.

Not surprised SDT is reaching out to everyone as they are probably desperate at this point. One single pledge class can make or break a house.

They do COB every year, I don’t think it’s out of desperation, it’s just what they do

Of all the girls sdt reached out to took the bids they would probably be very happy. If you are in a cob situation you are either going to be Greek with sdt or not at all

I'm an alum with a daughter that went through recruitment at Bama a few years ago (she is a gradate now so I don't keep up as much as I did!)
my youngest is going through rush this year at Arkansas, and everything just went virtual tonight. Even pref, and bid day is looking like they will be taken in small groups to the houses after they open their bids in their rooms. My daughter is so disappointed. Was Bama rush all virtual, or did you have some in-person rounds? Was bid day still in the stadium and did the pledge classes run to the houses as usual? Did the actives feel like they got to know the PNM's? Did the PNM's get a good feel for the houses? Thank you all for helping me make sense of this so I can best support my girl! RTR!!
