by: Obvious FillerWhat should I do about being an obvious filler girl / GPA Booster? Clear no one in this house wants you if you aren’t from Alabama. Do I just drop now? Does it get worse?

Exactly what @ok fine said. You don’t get to pick if you are a filler girl. I can go through my house and split my pledge class down the middle with the girls who are “in” and the ones who are not. Some of the girls from the south are in the out crowd, but NONE of the girls from the north are in the in crowd. This is how these sororities run. My junior year we had 14/17 girls from Alabama on exec. The other 3 from atl or something. 9 of them were from the same high school.

Y’all can’t blame everything on “trolls” lol. Btw I didn’t choose KD they were my only option. And I wanted to give it a try.

They were like 6th on my preference list. I did everything I could not to get them. Kept getting them back. I Was going to give it a try.

Actually it’s not. You can go through rush and have a good experience at a house because they’re all putting on their best face for every pnm, and get there on bid day and hate it. That is entirely possible so it’s not her “fault” for picking that house even if it was her number one the whole time. You don’t know what you’re getting into until you’re there

Most of the time on this site you have people saying the houses choose the girls not the other way around, only at pref do the girls have a choice and still isn't 100% their decision. And now on this post every one asking why you 'chose' KD if you didn't want them, make it make sense.

Yeah sure like you know what it’s like to go to bid day and the sorority members take separate pictures with only the Alabama girls. Or have the actives only care about them and openly say that they promised these girls pledges beforehand. They do absolutely nothing to include the out of state pnms and it’s openly obvious they only care about Alabama girls. It hurts. I can bs to myself and say I’m not a filler girl but it’s so obvious and during rush they put so little effort into their convos with me. It felt so lazy.
