how do actives know when to bump?
by: PnmIf you’re talking to one active, how does the next active know when to come up to me and talk to me next? Does the active do something to signal that the conversation is going bad and she needs another active to take over?

Don't try to read things into the mechanics of recruitment. Actives are trying to meet as many of you as reasonably possible and letting you meet them. Just focus on the conversations you are having and try to make a connection with the girl you're talking to. If you are concerned with searching for hidden clues about how you're doing, you are going to blow it.
