pref dress - has minimal beading

I'm starting to doubt my pref dress choice. It's matte silk, mid thigh lenght but has a high neck type halter and around the neck is basically a built in beaded statement necklace.
I'm starting to think it's way to formal for pref. It definitely couldn't be mistaken for a prom dress or anything like that but I did wear it to a black tie optional wedding. I got so many compliments and I feel beautiful and confident in it.
Thoughts?

If you like it and it looks good on you, that’s what matters! If you feel confident in that dress, WEAR IT! The girls will notice your confidence and will love it!

See the difference in tone and that it is mean in tone? That is the troll stamp

Everyone take note. Actual students in greek life do not have that sort of tone and are not mean like that.

Sounds lovely. The halter neck style is right, the matte silk is not shiny it's very tasteful and it will breath better than polyester. The neck beading will be fine, just don't wear too flashy earrings.

If you love it and can sit comfortably in it, it sounds perfect. A pref dress is supposed to be something appropriate for a wedding guest. Can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!

some girls in my rho chi group wore a romper almost every day and landed in top new row houses. your outfits aren’t what they’re lookin at.

The only issue I see is that it's silk. Since you're going to be in it most of the day, it could easily stain, or water spot, or wrinkle.
Otherwise, it sounds lovely and appropriate.
