I am about to start my senior year of high school and have known I was going to bama for years. Applications opened July 1, I have a good act score but I want to get it higher. Should I just go ahead and apply so I can get first pick for housing or wait? Is getting first pick important? I want to live in tut but will applying early allow me to pick the floor etc?

Go ahead and apply if you have a score that you will get accepted with. You can always wait until September/October to fill out the scholarship portion, and you’ve had time to take the ACT again.

Housing application doesn’t open until the beginning of October ish (or at least the year I applied). You need to have paid your freshman deposit to apply for housing and the earlier you apply for housing, the better.

I applied at the beginning of October and got the 5th floor of tut.
