Would it be okay to wear a romper for IWT?

I wouldn’t recommend it.

Are there a few girls who go through rush each year and wear them? Yes, and they probably do fine and aren’t cut by every house. But it’s better to just follow the rules than stick out in a bad way!

I mean you can, and it might turn out fine. But is the risk worth the reward..?

I’m curious bc I see tons of UGA girls buying rompers. I bought dresses just to be safe, and I know it’s a different school, but we’re similar in a ton of ways so I was just wondering why we’re so anti-romper,

This is rush at the biggest Greek system in the country. This is not a trailer park. It is not a rodeo. It is not a night club.

You have one chance to make a good impression. If you blow it with your romper you’ll be on the Alpha Phi porch on bid day.

a girl in my Rho chi group wore rompers and borderline scandalous outfits almost every day, but she pulled it off and ended up in a top NR house. I also know someone who wore a romper on pref and went top tier OR. It really depends on the girl, I just think you should know what looks good on you.

To echo someone above, it COULD work out fine, but when you could just NOT wear a romper I don’t really see what you gain from choosing to wear one

Here’s the thing about rompers- a lot of girls THINK they look great in one. But, only a minority DO actually look great. Most look just ok. Rompers are too casual to wear to church ( at least my church) and that is the vibe you are going with during IWT. If rompers are all you have and buying one dress for $20-30 that you could wear for both IWT days is out of the question, I guess go with a romper. But, in my opinion, this is the time to show sororities that you know what is appropriate ALL the time and how to stay in your lane ( at least regarding recruitment). If you want to show your individual style and that you don’t conform to rules out of the gate, then you do you.
