XOs are a hell of a lot more social than AXOs. If any old row house is “meh” it is definitely AXO.

So AXO is not irrelevant and they do have amazing girls. Lying and soft cheating of the grades does not mean that the girls in the house weren't top PNMs and they don't suddenly turn to irrelevant people. AXO has had great recruitments and has built a relevant house.

I just wonder what happens to the new pledge with integrity (or fear of expulsion) who says I won't cheat.

I wonder what happens when the new pledge class or the actives in the house fall to #2 or even #3-5 by a tenth of % because some of them step up and say I will not do adderal or I will not drop my class because of a b+. The infighting and stress in that house will explode when the first group doesn't make them top.

I wonder what happens to the amazing PNMs who join looking for a top house experience and then are pressured to skip social events or are on grade probation and can't attend social events.

PSA to PNMs this is not the norm at Bama and there are 10+ other houses who have amazing grades.

to be completely fair, alpha chi doesn't get that many top pnms. they get the top pnms who were like class valedictorians but they rarely get the top pnms who are the full package - those girls are usually split between phi mu, kappa, and a few others.

Actually true for the most part but there is a big legacy and connections aspect to them that most definitely does. It involve the brainiacs but rather are the same sort of “it girl” that tend toward pmu, kappa and a little to ddd.
