rushing?

I'm sure you're perfect as you are - come that way, but honestly do what you can to get yourself in better shape not just for rush, but for you. I've been there and done that! It's harder than crap, but if I can do it so can you and it's worth it on sooooo many levels. Rush will be easier and so will so many other things. You can do it!! You've got time -- do it and good luck. I am praying for you.

There’s enough time to lose about 20 pounds. I don’t want to be mean but weight does factor in. I rushed freshman year overweight and got accepted to a house that really didn’t fit me very well. My GPA was a lot higher than the house average (3.8 vs 3.0) and as far as personalities go, it wasn’t really a good match for me at all. I did meet a few of my best friends but we were kind of an odd out group in the house. I lost 35 pounds my freshman year and wonder what difference it might have made if I had lost weight prior to rush. It is hard!!! I won’t tell you it’s not. But it is possible with consistency in the gym and in making healthy food substitutions and portion control. I really am a lot happier with myself and more confident now.
