Coming next year, and while searching through the net, I came across a group called The Mallet Assembly, but it didn't really tell me much about it. Someone just said it was the antithesis of Greek Life?

Mallet is not a fraternity nor are they trying to be one. It is an residential Honors community founded in 1961.

Why the hate? I'm a believer in everyone doing what makes them happy. I love my sorority, but Mallet folks can do what they like. I'm just unsure what that is.

Police are investigating a video showing two possible University of Alabama students holding a duck by the neck.

The university and university police are investigating the video posted to Instagram on Monday night, which appears to show two people with a duck-- one holding the animal by the neck. The video was posted on the student-organized Instagram account Old Row Alabama, or @oldrowcrimsontide.

.... and Mallet members are the losers?.......
